Purchase at the Joint Auctions Boosted by Mid-Autumn Festival Auction amount reached NT$277,668,348

     All branches of the Administrative Enforcement Agency, MOJ held the joint auctions held on the “first” “Tuesday” of every month, starting at “3” p.m. on September
5,2023. Although certain counties and cities were rampaged by the typhoon, the MidAutumn Festival is approaching and each Branch contained diversified items for bidding,
where many of them were suitable as gifts for the Mid-Autumn Festival or self-use with excellent quality at a fair price. In addition, there were numerous real properties priced far less than the market price. Through dedicated promotions by each Branch, the interests in buying were high and the total bid amount reached NT$277,668,348, which effectively increased the national treasury.

     The total bid amount for real properties reached NT$271,489,094. Among them,there were total of 4 cases with the sum of bid amount for real properties under the same obligor exceeding NT$10 million. The highest bid amount covered 4 lands adjacent to each other auctioned by the Hualian Branch, which were located between Dongming Section and Shanling Section of Shoufeng Township, Hualien County at consolidated auction reserve price of NT$158,208,000. The lands sat on the slope of Coast Mountains within vicinity of Farglory Ocean Park and offered spectacular scenery for overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This was the 4th auction and the lands were finally settled at the reserve price of NT$158,208,000. The second highest bid amount went to the stores on floor 1 and 2 of a 13-storey building located in prime section of Yunlin Road, Douliu City auctioned by the Chiayi Branch. The 2 floors including veranda covers total area of approximately 127 Pings (419.65 m2 ) and currently serve as Douliou Branch of DBS Bank, which is close to Douliou Store of Carrefour and Douliou Tzu Chi Hospital, with McDonald’s Yunlin Restaurant right next door. This was the second auction with reserve price of NT$21.78 million; the price was less than the actual price registration for real property transaction for that particular section at present and attracted many buyers. The final bid amount was NT$26.02 million, which was NT$4.24 million higher than the reserve price.The third highest bid amount was the “Antai Summit Complex” entrusted to the Shilin Branch by Taiwan Mouli District Prosecutors Office. It was a commercial building opposite the Hongshulin MRT Station, where 2 units were finalized at a bid amount of approximately NT$ 26 million and NT$22.28 million respectively. Other branches have also sold several high-quality real properties.

     The bid amount for properties reached NT$6,179,254. The highest amount was a white Porsche SUV entrusted to the Shilin Branch by Taiwan Shilin District Prosecutors’ Office. The auction attracted biddings from multiple buyers and finally settled at a total bid amount of NT$3.04 million and premium of NT$240,000. In addition, 201,122 coins of USDT also attracted biddings from 7 buyers; after 17 rounds of vigorous bidding competition, a total amount of NT$680,5000 was finalized at the end. The second highest bid amount went to the physical stock certificates of Sunny Bank auctioned by the Tainan Branch, and the final bid amount reached NT$1.34 million. Furthermore, the properties auctioned or sold by each Branch included diversified items such as liquor bottles of renowned brands, whiskeys made by local breweries, multiple vehicles, motorcycles,physical stock certificates, children’s shoes, ornaments, jewelries, necklaces, jade stones,bracelets, amethyst geodes and hand-made cake rolls.
