AEA Clearance Sale at the End of the Year! Achieving an Astonishing Total Auction Price of More than NT$112,090,000 from the AEA Joint Auction of December

The branches of the Administrative Enforcement Agency of
the Ministry of Justice held the last joint auction is held on the
“first” “Tuesday” of every month, starting at “3” p.m. of the year on
December 3, which offered a variety of items with good value for
the price, and under the tremendous enthusiasm of the general
public, many of them were sold right after the auction was
launched, making the auction amount reached NT$112,099,908,
with was an effective financial source for the national treasury. In
addition, AEA continued to actively implement the Executive
Yuan’s “5A7S” strategies and the Ministry of Justice’s policy on
the recovering of criminal proceeds, fully cooperated with the
prosecutors’ entrustment and instructions to auction items collected
from criminal activities at various prices, which was an act of
protecting a stable and just society.
The conclusion of the auction of real properties reached
NT$106,837,694. Among them, the highest price came from the
New Taipei Branch auction of the vacant land near the embankment
next to Fuhe Bridge in Yonghe District, New Taipei City. The
zoning for the land was for river reservation with an area of about
720 pings. It was the fourth auction, and although eventually no bid
was made, the bank (the mortgagee) purchased the land on the spot
at the upset price of NT$36 million. In addition, the New Taipei
Branch also auctioned a 47-year-old and 22-ping storefront located
in Sanchong District, New Taipei City. It was its second auction,
with an upset price of NT$14.25 million. Because its location was
close to Liuchang Park with an excellent view and was proximate
to the Zhengyi North Road business district with complete
amenities, it was handed over right after the auction was completed
at NT$17.021 million, a premium of more than NT$2.77 million.
The Changhua Branch also auctioned 2 parcels of land located in
Caotun Township, Nantou County for NT$8.5 million. The Tainan
Branch auctioned 10 parcels of land and buildings located in
Xinying District, Tainan City, for a price of NT$5.959 million.
Other branches have also sold several high-quality real properties.
The total amount of property auctioned reached
NT$5,262,214. The attractive object was the McLaren 570S
COUPE, a famous supercar with an engine displacement of 3,799cc
manufactured in September 2016 and auctioned by the Kaohsiung
Branch under the entrustment of the Kaohsiung District Prosecutors
Office. The car was auctioned at the Double Eleven joint auction,
but failed to be successfully due to slight price difference despite
enthusiastic bidding from the general public. This time was its
second auction, with an upset price lowered. Eventually, a supercar
fan purchased it for NT$3.96 million. Moreover, the Taoyuan
Branch auctioned a Rolex watch that came with a warranty
certificate, an invoice and a delicate storage box. It was its second
auction, in which bidders seized the final opportunity at the end of
the year and the watch was auctioned at an affordable price of
NT$240,000. Other properties auctioned by the other Branches
include several cars and motorcycle, computers, communication,
and consumer electronics, household appliances, and physical stock
certificates, which all reached fruitful results.
