The various branches of the Administrative Enforcement Agency of the Ministry of
Justice (AEA) held the joint auction held on the “first” “Tuesday” of every month, starting
at “3” p.m. on May 6, 2025, the eve of Mother’s Day, where each branch brought out a
variety of “treasures” for the general public to bid on. The auction site of each branch was
full of enthusiastic visitors, with the total auction amount as high as NT$129,324,557.
The total amount made from the joint auction of real properties reached
NT$109,777,409, and the total amount made from properties was NT$19,547,148.
AEA continues to actively cooperate with the procuratorate in handling auctions of
entrusted cases. The joint auction of May also auctioned several items entrusted by
the procuratorate, with the total final bid amount reaching NT$45,560,888. The real
properties with the highest auction price came from the land in the Linnei Section of
Niaosong District seized by the Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office from the scam
syndicate "XXX Mutual Aid Association", in which four parcels of land were
auctioned for an amount of NT$32.199 million. The auctioned item was originally
registered as owned by an investment and development company. The company's
shareholders first recruited members by establishing the "XXX Mutual Aid Association"
and illegally collected money. They then used the illicit proceeds to further collect money
illegally to establish a company and use illicit proceeds to purchase real properties
registered under the company's name or deposited it into the bank account under the
company’s name. There were more than 2,000 victims in the case, and it was the fourth
auction for the item whose the proceeds from the auction would greatly increase the
possibility of compensation for the victims. The second highest amount came from the
auction of the real property in Gangshan District by the Kaohsiung Branch, which was
confiscated in a fraud case at the request of the Taichung District Prosecutor's Office. The
total amount was as high as NT$13,361,888, making the second auction with successful
final bid. The procuratorate and administrative enforcement units, which are all part of the
Ministry of Justice system, jointly combat crime, especially scam crimes that are deeply
hated by the general public of Taiwan, by handling auction of entrusted cases, so as to
safeguard the rights and interests of the general public. In order to implement the
government's key policies of comprehensively preventing fraud, the various branches of
AEA have also actively combined the joint auction held on the “first” “Tuesday” of every
month, starting at “3” p.m. to carry out anti-fraud propaganda to the people participating
in the auction, so as to enhance the general public's awareness of fraud prevention.
The joint auctions are held on the “first” “Tuesday” of every month, starting at “3”
p.m. Anyone interested is highly recommended to participate in the bidding to obtain what
is desired the most. You may visit the official site of AEA or the auction pages at official
