The Branches of the Administrative Enforcement Agency of the Ministry of Justice
(AEA) held the joint auction held on the “first Tuesday” of every month, starting at “3” p.m.
on June 3. As the Dragon Boat Festival holiday came to an end, the Grain in Ear solar term
brought the harvest. The auction sites were bustling with people. The auction items included
everything from real properties, ships, cars and motorcycles, physical stock certificates, to
various fine products. The auction attracted enthusiastic bids from the general public and
the total auction amount reached NT$90,849,492, which was a fruitful result. In addition,
AEA also continued to actively implement the Executive Yuan's "5A7S" policy, and
adopting the Ministry of Justice's mechanism for returning stolen items from criminal
activities, fully cooperating with the prosecutors’ offices to entrust the auction of illicit
proceeds, demonstrating its determination to combat lawlessness and protect a stable and
just society with actions.
The total bid amount of real properties reached NT$58,784,024. The highest auction
price was NT$14,401,000 from a building on Changchun Road, Zhongshan District, Taipei
City, which was auctioned by the Taipei Branch. The building was originally a hotel, and
although it has no utility supply and the surface of walls and ceilings is peeling off, its
location close to the Taipei Regent Hotel and Showtime Cinemas with convenient
transportation and good living functions, as well as bustling surrounding business districts
make it a feature potential of attracting large crowds of visitors and consumers consumption
and it was successfully auctioned at the second auction. The New Taipei Branch auctioned
a building on Zhongzheng Road, Zhonghe District, New Taipei City. The building was built
about 27 years ago with a total area of about 51 pings. It is close to the Zhonghe Interchange
of National Highway 3, the Zhongyuan Station of the MRT Circular Line and the
GlobalMall. This was the third auction with an upset price of NT$11.5 million. After the
mortgagee was applied to remove the lease rights, it effectively increased the general
public's willingness to make bids and it was successfully auctioned for NT$11,699,999. In
addition, the Yilan Branch auctioned the portion of joint ownership of land of a debtor
surnamed Shen, who owned a large arrear of transportation laws, in the Baiyun section of
Jiaoxi Township, Yilan County for NT$5.8 million. The debtor owed 691 entries of vehicle
license tax, tolls, traffic fines and NHI premiums, totaling more than NT$700,000. Through
this auction, all the debts can be paid off and the remaining balance will be returned to the
debtor.
The total amount of property auctioned reached NT$32,065,468. Among them, the
highest auction price was NT$16.875 million from the 450,000 shares of Zhonghe Textile
Co., Ltd. owned by the deceased surnamed Yeh, which was auctioned off by the Changhua
Branch. The most eye-catching auction was the "Jinyumanhao" fishing boat seized during
the investigation, which was under the entrustment of the Tainan District Prosecutors’ Office.
The fishing boat sailed to the sea areas of Pratas Island in February 2025 and received 402
kilograms of marijuana from a Thai drug lord's ship on the high seas. The marijuana was
seized in the secret cabin of the fishing boat after being intercepted and investigated by the
Coast Guard Administration of the Ocean Affairs Council. The case is currently under
investigation by the District Prosecutors’ Office. The total tonnage of "Jinyumanhao" is
53.37 tons, the length is 20.23 meters and the width is 4.6 meters. The auction was

conducted by on-site bidding, with an upset price of only NT$78,000. However, the fishing
license of the fishing boat is still valid, which attracted 4 groups of bidders to participate in
the bidding enthusiastically and it was finally auctioned successfully for NT$575,000, with
a premium of more than 7.3 times of the upset price. In addition, the Pingtung Branch was
entrusted by the Pingtung District Prosecutors’ Office to auction 808.6 Tether coins (USDT),
which were successfully sold at a price of NT$19,500. After the auction, the Tether coins
were transferred by the Pingtung District Prosecutors’ Office to the virtual currency wallet
of the bidder. In addition, the Pingtung Branch held a charity sale at the auction site to share
love- "Happiness from Justice," turning justice and care into practical actions. The proceeds
from the sale were used first to assist economically disadvantaged obligors in the
jurisdiction, making administrative execution both flexible and caring and responding to
society's expectations for substantive justice.
