Yesterday (November 4), the various branches of the
Administrative Enforcement Agency (AEA), Ministry of Justice,
simultaneously held the nationwide November “First Tuesday
Joint Auction,” which takes place on the “first” “Tuesday” of
every month, starting at “3” p.m. The auction items covered land,
buildings, gold, vehicles, and various practical goods, attracting
many participants to attend and bid in person. The total amount
at the conclusion of the auctions reached NT$994,499, serving
as a successful prelude to the upcoming nationwide “5 Against
and 7 Safety” Joint Auction to be held on Double 11 (November
11). In recent years, the auction activities organized by the
branches have not only helped realize public law claims and
effectively implement the spirit of the new criminal confiscation
system, demonstrating the effectiveness of administrative

enforcement authorities in exercising public power, but have
also provided the public with a fair and transparent channel to
easily acquire valuable assets at reasonable prices. Although
today’s joint auction served as a “warm-up stage,” many
attendees eagerly expressed their eagerness to “wait for the
Double 11 Joint Auction,” showing that the ““first” “Tuesday”
of every month, starting at “3” p.m.” has successfully set the
stage for next week’s nationwide “5 Against and 7 Safety” Joint
Auction.
To implement the Executive Yuan’s “5 Against and 7
Safety” policy (5 Against: organized crime, corruption, firearms,
drugs, and fraud; 7 Safety: public security, food safety, traffic
safety, workplace safety, campus safety, residential safety, and
information security), the AEA and its branches have not only
strengthened the seizure of assets available for enforcement
from obligors but have also actively assisted prosecutorial
authorities in auctioning seized and confiscated properties.
Coinciding with Taiwan’s most popular Double 11 shopping
season, the AEA will hold the nationwide “5 Against and 7
Safety” Joint Auction on November 11, 2025 (Tuesday) at 11
a.m., with participation from all 13 branches. This grand annual
event invites the public to participate in an occasion that
combines justice with great deals. This year’s Double 11 auction
is packed with highlights, including over one million units of
Tether and 1,712 taels of gold bars, bringing international
attention to the event. Large-scale equipment such as a civil
aircraft, fishing vessels, excavators, and tractors will attract
strong interest from investors, while more than 60

vehicles—including Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW
models—and nearly 600 real estate properties offer a wide
selection, ranging from luxury items to everyday essentials.
Whether looking for investment opportunities or practical goods
for daily life, the public is sure to find their ideal items at this
auction. Some of the auction items were properties entrusted by
prosecutorial authorities for sale. The successful conclusion of
these auctions not only implements the spirit of the new criminal
confiscation system but also helps compensate victims of crime,
fully embodying the Ministry of Justice’s dual policy of “strictly
combating crime” while “protecting the rights and interests of
victims.”
This year’s Double 11 “5 Against and 7 Safety” Joint
Auction is themed “Prosecutorial–Enforcement Alliance:
Safeguarding Justice,” showcasing the strong enforcement
synergy achieved through cross-agency cooperation between
prosecutorial authorities and administrative enforcement
authorities. It demonstrates the government’s firm determination
to implement the “5 Against and 7 Safety” policy. The event
symbolizes the joint efforts of prosecutors and enforcement
officers in combating crime and confiscating illicit
gains—turning each auction not only into a sale of assets but
also a realization of social justice. The AEA sincerely invites the
public to join this grand event—“bid for great deals and share in
the spirit of justice.” For more information, please visit the AEA
official website (http://www.tpk.moj.gov.tw) or follow the
websites and Facebook pages of individual branches to get the

on your favorite items—let’s bid for justice and a better life
together!
